Dr. Stephanie Townsend - Veterinarian

Dr. Stephanie Townsend is a graduate of Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine.

After spending several years in Atlanta, as a Louisville native, she could not be happier to return to her hometown.

Dr. Townsend graduated from North Oldham High School and went on to major in Biopsychology at Transylvania University. After graduating from veterinary school at Auburn University in 2016, Dr. Townsend completed a rotating internship at BluePearl Veterinary Specialists in Atlanta, Georgia. After spending the past five years in Atlanta, Dr. Townsend and her husband are excited to be back home, closer to friends and family.

Dr. Townsend's favorite part of the 'job' is seeing the special bond that all animal owners have with their pets. In fact, Dr. Townsend says seeing this relationship is what makes going into work not seem like a job at all. She loves getting to know and treating each fur baby as if they were her own.

Dr. Townsend enjoys spending time with her husband, Elliott, and their two dogs (Chyna and Dezi) and the sweetest kitten (Leon) in her spare time. She loves doing anything outdoors, involving art or trying new delicious foods!
